Adam Thielen, Miles Sanders, Logan Thomas, and Corey Davis all exited last week’s games early, and at least Thielen’s and Sanders’ status will affect waiver wire pickups. Week 14 is the last week of the season before the fantasy football playoffs, so these injury updates are as crucial as ever.

WEEK 14: Top waiver pickups

Adam Thielen injury update

Thielen reportedly suffered a high-ankle sprain against Detroit, but he’ll undergo further testing to see how much time he could miss. The Vikings play the Steelers on Thursday night, and it would been surprising if Thielen played.

The Steelers are a bottom-10 team against fantasy WRs, so K.J. Osborn draws some flex appeal this week. However, he’s not guaranteed to get a ton of work. Thielen owners should take a look at all options in our best waiver pickups list.

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Miles Sanders injury update

Sanders (ankle) was ruled out late in the Eagles win over the Jets, and it’s unclear whether he simply sat out because the Eagles had a big lead, or if his injury is going to be trouble down the stretch. For now, we don’t know, but we’ll continue to update this section of the post when more information rolls in.

However, the Eagles are headed to a bye, so we may not know much for a little while. Stay tuned next week, but feel free to take a flier on Jordan Howard, Boston Scott, or Kenneth Gainwell.

WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:

Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Logan Thomas injury update

UPDATE: Initial tests did not confirm Thomas suffered a torn ACL, and he will undergo further tests to find out the extent of his injury.

Thomas (knee) is believed to have torn his ACL and MCL, so he’d obviously be out for the season if that’s the case. He was out for the majority of the season to this point, and Ricky Seals-Jones was a worthwhile streamer, but he is dealing with a hip injury, and it’s unclear when he’ll be back.

If RSJ misses more time, John Bates is the starter in Washington, but his upside is limited. Only those in TE-premium leagues should be interested as of now.

Corey Davis injury update

UPDATE: Davis suffered a core-muscle injury in Week 13 and will miss the remainder of the season.

Davis (groin) was bothered by a previous injury during the game against the Eagles, but it’s unclear if the ailment will cause him to miss time moving forward. The matchup coming up with New Orleans is a good one for wide receivers, so while his status update might not seem important in the grand scheme of fantasy rankings and start ’em, sit ’em decisions, his absence would take a solid receiver in a good matchup off the table.

That said, Elijah Moore is clearly the No. 1 WR in New York at this point, but we like Davis as the WR32 in standard and PPR leagues if he plays this week.
