Former President Donald Trump ripped the mainstream media on Monday for ignoring stories that make him look good or vindicate him.
Trump said he was “shocked and disgusted,” (but probably not surprised) that most major news outlets neglected to carry any stories about new details regarding Hillary Clinton and her failed presidential campaign trying to spy on the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.
The Truth Is Beginning To Come Out
During an interview with conservative radio host Michael Savage on Monday, Trump said of the mainstream media blackout of the story, “That to me is the beginning of communism, that’s how it all starts. That is the beginning of communism.”

Special Counsel John Durham, who has been investigating any ties with the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia, is finding out that the old Saul Alinsky tactic of accusing your opponent of what you are doing is ringing true.
So far the only person arrested for any involvement for possible Russian collusion is Hillary Clinton’s former campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. He is accused of sharing data with federal law enforcement, and making false statements to the FBI about the data he shared.
The false information Sussmann shared included linking the Trump Organization to a Russian bank, which was then used by the Clinton campaign to allege ties to Russia.
The mainstream media are co-conspirators in covering up this scandal and need to be held accountable. The American people deserve the truth. pic.twitter.com/kA9QbVQ4U5

‘Worse Than Watergate’?
The former President had plenty to say about what was being uncovered.
“Can you imagine that, what should be the biggest story of our time, bigger than Watergate, is getting absolutely no mention, ZERO, in the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, ratings-dead CNN, and MSDNC. This in itself is a scandal, the fact that a story so big, so powerful, and so important for the future of our Nation is getting zero coverage from LameStream, is being talked about all over the world. It shows how totally corrupt and shameless the media is.”
Documents filed by Durham on Friday also allege that Sussmann paid tech executives at an Internet company to essentially “infiltrate” servers at both Trump Tower and ultimately the White House.

The Media, Willing Accomplices
Trump speculated a bit on why the media did not want to touch the story, “The press is, I guess, afraid, you’ll tell me, afraid or they’re just bad news or they’re communists and they don’t want to write about it.”
Surprisingly, after Trump voiced his ire at the willful neglect of the media on the story, several outlets managed to touch on it. CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post all ran stories that covered some aspect of the story, but many more tried to downplay the information in the court filing.
Trump said, “The good news is that people are seeing it.”
The Fox News Channel’s Greg Gutfeld summed up the media’s avoidance, not only of such bombshell information about Hillary Clinton and her campaign, but also the fact that Donald Trump was proven right again.
“But there’s a reason why the press can’t cover this story. If they cover it, they end up having to cover their own cover-up. It’s a lot of work. It’s the same reason we can’t get to the bottom of any of their claims because at the bottom is their own asinine complicity.”
