Devin Haney enters Saturday’s fight against Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. as the heavy favorite. The 23-year-old has a height and reach advantage over Diaz, and he brings an incredible amount of skill to the ring. There is a reason he has a perfect 26-0 record and currently holds the WBC lightweight championship belt.

But the challenger isn’t lacking confidence. Ahead of the matchup, Diaz told The Sporting News’ Andreas Hale that he will walk out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena as the new champion.

“I think I’m gonna break him down, both just physically and mentally,” Diaz said. “I’m gonna take him to a place he’s never been, and in the later rounds, I’ll get him out of there.”

Can Diaz deliver on his promise? Or will Haney remain undefeated?

Here’s everything you need to know about watching the Haney vs. Diaz fight.
