In one year, Nielsen helped flip the Falcons from one of the worst defenses in the league (29th in EPA/Play, 31st in success rate allowed) to one of the best (12th in EPA/Play, 5th in success rate allowed) year-over-year.

Previous position: San Francisco 49ers assistant general manager (2021-2023)
Peters worked his way up the Denver Broncos scouting department before becoming the 49ers’ VP of player personnel. Peters is touted as especially proficient in late-round draft picks, nailing selections on George Kittle, Fred Warner, Talanoa Hufanga, and Brock Purdy.
